During the ”STEM Discovery Week 2019” campaign, the 8th grade students from Secondary School “Ioan Vlăduţiu”, Luduş, Romania, will find out the answer to this question. They will participate in several activities in which they will meet face to face with the school counselor, and online with scientists and students from the University of Bucharest and the Babes-Bolyai University from Cluj-Napoca.
These activities will be complemented by a visit to the local upper secondary school to find out about the opportunities offered by the education system from our town. After that, the students organized in teams will make posters about possible occupations wich a person can have if study a STEM discipline (who are they and what they do, job duties, the conditions in which the activities take place, instruments / equipment used, the necessary skills etc.). The posters will be presented to their collegues and will be published on a blog dedicated to STEM Discovery Week.
