Ecology based nature education in Cukurova Delta and its surrounding

Nature is wise. A pine tree does not try to establish authority over deer. Or mushroom plants will not be envious. A turtle travels patiently through life. Nature has a lot to offer to a human. Yet the youth is far from it.

Young people spend their day in a closed world in the triangle of telephone-television-computer. With this project, our students will explore Cukurova Delta and its surroundings and the natural life within it for 7 days. They will love and learn to protect. This is the purpose of our project.
Cukurova and its surrounding natural elements such as landforms, water resources, climate, vegetation, soil features and historical human structures such as castles, mounds and aqueducts are examined, and the education and activities to be given by experts in these areas are about the environment and nature.

Cities are flooded, forests are burning, glaciers are melting and lakes are drying up, and no matter how much people try to intervene, they fall short. Everything is getting worse day by day, the future does not give any hope. We will not find a world to live in in the near future if humanity does not take its mind hand in hand and does not take the necessary measures completely.

There is a very true saying by activists: “There is no planet B!” We don’t even have a minute to waste anymore, because climate change is a huge reality and it stands in front of us.
