Recent innovations have been made in the field of education. STEM education has brought to the fore. STEM showed more importance in the life of the individual and society.
In the new education system, the student is in the center, not the teacher.
Nowadays, students should take responsibility for their learning. Students need different skills. This applies to physical education. Students should be familiar with the science in sports branches. Students should be motivated to produce. 4 countries came together. We have 106 students in our project. Our students discovered STEM fields and created projects, took responsibility and learned to express their feelings. They found solutions to problems with their peers in different cities and countries. And they learned to use technology wisely.

Project Activities

Physical Education and Angles

Mathematics is everywhere in life. Our students worked on the angles and learned the angles in the sports branches. They understood why they had learned the subject of angles. Like short distance running. Like the front and back leg of the athlete on the starting wedge. Angles in your legs.

Or the angle of your arm in basketball, shooting shots. Or, in swimming, the swimmer’s angle of jumping into the water.

Physical Education and Ratio Proportion

Creative thinking, innovation, designing are important concepts in the education system. The interdisciplinary approach is important in the education system. We used Web 2.0 tools. We discussed STEM events and stadiums. We examined stadiums around the world and their capacities. We worked with mixed teams. We compared the population of the city where the stadium is located and the capacity of the stadium. We designed new stadiums.

Physical Education and Statistics
In this topic, we examined STEM careers. In the 21st century, data is very important in sports branches. We taught to read statistics. We have examined the games from the first Olympics to date (1896-1996).

  1. The number of female actors who participated,
  2. Number of male players,
  3. Changing game numbers,
  4. Medals received,
  5. The continents where games take place.
  6. Students got detailed information about the Olympics.
