DISCOVER WITH STEAM

When the subject of education is examined all over the world, we determined that the most emphasized concept is STEAM. In traditional education, courses are taught independently from each other and it is important to associate different disciplines with each other in STEAM education.

Kulturpark Rotary aims to increase carbon footprint awareness in its Carbon Free I'm Happy presentations.

It is seen as “Improving the quality and efficiency of education and training, encouraging creativity and innovation, including entrepreneurship, at all stages of Education and Training”. This learning scenario includes a series of engaging lessons that explore ways to reduce carbon footprint, reduce water footprint, renewable energy and recycling. It includes STEM-related activities in science fiction Emissions to move towards the use of renewable energy. Lessons aim to help students learn while having fun.

It aims to provide information about renewable and non-renewable energy sources and to raise awareness about recycling. Students This learning scenario helps students think about actions necessary for future sustainability During the weekly class hour, the lessons can be taught alone or as part of a more cohesive project throughout the course.

Each of the activities has a multidisciplinary approach. Students are encouraged to work collaboratively with their peers. Thanks to the emphasis placed on discussion and group work, students were encouraged to take on an investigative role in this project.

It is our priority to raise our students who have low academic success and talent for fine arts in our schools. and creativity and bringing them into society. As a result, students will take their places in society as individuals who have gained a sense of responsibility with high self-confidence, learning and renewal skills, information media and technology skills, life and professional skills. Within the scope of the project, students will have important information about different STEAM applications. This will increase students’ motivation to come to school. In addition, the academic success of the students will increase. With STEAM applications, students will expand their horizons. Students’ self-confidence will increase and their communication in a foreign language will improve.
