Together with our students, we conducted research on environmental pollution during the STEM discovery week. Our students have determined that the water resources in our neighborhood and in the world are polluted with too much solid waste. They began to look for solutions to this problem. They concluded that in the long run it is necessary to educate people and raise awareness about environmental pollution. In the short term, they showed that the surface of water resources can be cleaned with technological tools. They put forward a robotic study in which they used robotic arms, sensors and microcontrollers related to this idea, and they called this project an “Environmental Protection Automation System (EPAS).
