With the increase of the pandemic all over the world, as a result, protective equipment usage has increased considerably. The masks usage has reached a threatening level for the environment.
For this reason, we decided to produce nature-friendly, recyclable masks.

The Natural Mask project is prepared for eTwinning and Tubitak, which is also a STEM project. Considering the environmental pollution, it is obvious that single-use masks are a threat to the environment. Based on this, we designed a disinfectable mask at home using organic Arçelik, which is a Turkish brand, filament in a 3D printer. The students have witnessed every stage of the process and the project was implemented.
