Summary:  Climate change is one of the biggest problems of our day and continues globally. It has negative effects on human life, nature, living things and the economy. It also affects water resources. Our goal is to reuse the water resources that decrease with the change of climate.

Goals:

1. To draw attention to the importance of water

2. Evaluating rainwater

3. To raise the awareness of students about water saving

4. Utilization of waste water

Activity 1: Videos on climate change and the importance of water as a result of global warming were watched. He chatted with the children. “How do we protect our water?” Questions were asked and we aimed to find a solution to our problem with answers.

The importance of water in our life

Preparing for classes started by reading the All Basic for School seminar and learning about AI resources because I met some of them for the first time, and I realized the importance of using them in class. Since March 21 is Water Day, I decided to connect STEM, NBL and PBL through integrative teaching.

Classes were conducted through the following subjects: Mathematics, Croatian language, Nature and society (science), Art and Music culture. We started the activity by showing videos and listening carefully.

WATER WITH SCIENCE

AGUA A CON CIENCIA

This  collaborative project is born to improve our environment and to delve into knowledge  to value and love a precious good like it is water. Its objectives expose the main characteristics of water and, from there, carry out experiences the help to internalize the objectives.

This citizen science project aims to show the water cycle, different uses that this limited resource receives and how can we rationalize our consumption, improve use at home and, above all, in our schools.

To achieve meaningful student learning involved, experiences have been designed to capture the contents and advance in a consumption more conscious. With surveys, the school compiled a lot of data for, within the framework of a science initiative citizen, find solutions and reduce consumption.
